You Lost Me

"You Lost Me" is a song by American recording artist Christina Aguilera, taken from her fourth studio album, Bionic (2010). Aguilera described as the "heart of the album," the song was written by Aguilera and Sia Furler, with the song's producer Samuel Dixon. Lyrically, the song refers to an unfaithful man, who has left the world in view of Aguilera as "infected". The song was released on June 29, 2010 by RCA Records as the third and final single from Bionic. A radio edit was released and earned comparisons with the likes of Phil Spector and the Wall of Sound.
"You Lost Me" was well received by contemporary critics, with criticism that stand out as one of the highlights of the album and complimenting the song to be a return to Aguilera in time before the previous single, "Not Myself Tonight ". Commercially, the performance of the song was very weak, becoming his first single to not enter the Billboard Hot 100, although it was a success in the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart, reaching number one. Internacionally, percormance had the same graph, charting in Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.
